This is glass blowing. It's fun. The class is small. Maybe 3 people at the most. All tools and materials provided as well as snacks and drinks. March 28-29, 2015 •12pm-4pm - Introduction to Kiln Forming - Kiln Forming includes fusing, slumping and casting glass. In this two day introduction class we'll explore fusing and slumping. Day one we'll talk about the properties of glass, firing schedules and what they are, cut glass and finally assemble a few pieces that will be fused. Day two we'll examine the fused glass making sure there are no sharp edges and everything looks good to slump into a mold to form plates. We'll discuss the design choices that were made and the results. Beginners are welcome and all supplies and tools are provided for this two day, 6 hour class. $250

April 4-5, 2015• 11pm-4pm - Beginning Glass Bead Making - Learn to make glass beads with a professional bead making torch. This two day class will take you through safety and set-up, creating stringers, twisties and other simple component parts and making simple glass beads in a variety of shapes and sizes. All supplies and tools are provided for this 2 day 10 hour class. Just bring your desire to learn and your imagination. $250.

Wire wrapping, forging, enameling, and light soldering as well as bead stringing and some macrame will be explored. Most materials will be provided as well as tools. Additional materials are available for purchase. This class is available day or night. $250

There are two options to take this class, day or night. Materials and tools included, just bring your imagination. $250

April 17, 2015 - In this short but concise class you'll get your first experience with fusing glass. You'll create a lovely glass pendant or two and begin your kiln forming education. This class will wet your curiousity for further learning about glass and what you can do with it. We'll go over some basic but important information regarding glass and what you need to know to move forward. You'll need to pick up your pendants once they've been fired in the kiln. It's short class at 2 hours and all supplies and tools are provided. If you want to make more pendants there will be an extra charge depending on the glass used. Also, your project will have to be picked up after it's been fired but we can mail it to you if you'd like. $35.

April 18-19, 2015 • 12pm-3pm -Parts Sheets and Plates - Parts sheets are made as accents for fused glass pieces. In this 2 day class you'll make parts sheets that will be fired overnight. You'll use powder, frit, stringer,and other stuff. On day two you'll cut up the parts and use them to make two plates in conjunction with other glass. The plates will be slumped in an additional firing and can be picked up a few days after class. $250.

May 8, 2015 • 6pm-8pm -Wire Wrap Bead Rings -They're simple to make and so much fun to wear. You'll make two wire and bead rings, one with a disk as the focal and one as a lentil or square bead as the focal. It's a great class for beginners. The wire used for class is sterling silver and the glass beads handmade. You'll leave with two lovely rings. All materials included for two rings. Additional materials are available for purchase. $75

May 9-10, 2015• 11pm-4pm - Clay to Plaster - Beginning Glass Casting - You start with a slab of clay that you will create a form with. Could be a flat sculpture, could be a texturized surface. It's then covered with plaster. Once the plaster sets up, the clay is removed. Day two involves clean up and pres=p of the mold, glass selection, as well as determination of the quantity of glass required to cast the piece. The casting will take a couple of days. Some light cold working may be required once your piece is out. $250.

There will be metal clay, simple mold making, soldering, and wire wrapping to help you create your one of a kind charm necklace. Everything is supplied for this 2 day, 12 hour class. $250.

May 22, 2015 • 6pm-8pm -Cast Glass Pendants -Casting in its most basic form. You'll make cast glass pendants using frit, which is crushed glass and pre-made molds. Frit comes in all kinds of colors and can be mixed and matched. These pendants will be fired in the kiln so you'll need to return to pick them up or they can be shipped to you. $40.

May 23, 2015 • 11am-4pm - Vitrigraph Plate - First we play with vitrigraph...imagine a kiln that has a flower pot full of glass in it. Both the pot and the kiln have holes at the bottom of them and when the glass is hot ans fluid enough it comes through those holes. What you get are squiggles and twists and wigwags and all kinds of component parts that you will use to decorate a plate. Good times. This is a very small class...no more than 3. Beginners welcome. $200

May 24 , 2015 • 12pm-4pm -Make Glass Art! -I like to think of this as painting with glass. Freely express yourself with color and create and abstract expressionist glass painting using frit, stringer vitrigraph and sheet glass. You have 3 hours, what can you create? $150.

May 30-31, 2015 • 11am-4pm - Silver Glass Bead Making - One of the next classes you'll want to take after your beginning class. We'll focus on silver glass, which is so beautiful and wonderful to work with. We'll reduce and encase and strike and make really lovely beads. Some bead making experience is required. All supplies and tools are provided for this 6 hour class. Just bring your desire to learn and your imagination. $300.

March 20, 2015 • 6pm-9pm - Earring Basics -Everyone loves earrings! And they are so easy to make. There are so many options. Well, we'll explore a bunch of earring options in this beginning jewelry making class using wire and headpins, chain, beads and simple wire working tools. Expect to make at least 3 pairs of earrings if not more. Most supplies and tools provided but other supplies such as sterling silver and handmade beads and findings are also available for purchase. $60.

June 13-14, 2015 •12pm-4pm - Pattern Bars...Fused Glass Tiles -Create one-of-a-kind designs by making pattern bars. But what's a pattern bar you ask? It's a grouping of glass, maybe rods, strips, stringer and frit that's been fused together in a bar. Sort of like murrini, if you know what that is. It's then sliced up with a tile saw and the patterns are then used to accent tiles and plates and other goodies. You'll make 4 tiles with your pattern bars. All materials and tools are supplied for this 2 day, 8 hour class. Beginners welcome. $225.

hearts and flowersJune 20-21 2015 • 11am-4pm - Hearts & Flowers Glass Bead Making - One of the next classes you'll want to take after your beginning class. We'll focus on hearts and flowers. Different styles for both the hearts and the flowers. We'll be creating stringers, twisties and other simple component parts that will be used to make roses and petal flowers and leaves and vines. Some bead making experience is required. All supplies and tools are provided for this 2 day/10 hr hour class. Just bring your desire to learn and your imagination. $250.

fritJuly 5, 2015 • 12am-4pm - Fused Glass Tiles In this beginning fusing class we will go over some basic, but important, information regarding glass and what you need to know to move forward. To create your designs on your four tiles you'll use frit and powders, stringer and sheet glass. The possibilities are endless...almost. You'll need to pick up your tiles once they've been fired in the kiln. The class is 4 hours and all supplies and tools are provided.
