May 11-12, 2013• 11pm-4pm - Beginning Glass Bead Making - Learn to make glass beads with a professional bead making torch. This two day class will take you through safety and set-up, creating stringers, twisties and other simple component parts and making
simple glass beads in a variety of shapes and sizes. All supplies and tools are provided for this 2 day 10 hour class. Just bring your
desire to learn and your imagination. $250.
May 19, 2013 • 12pm-5pm -Beginning Mosaic -You've been curious about mosaic but didn't know where to start. Well start here and choose between a flower, heart or skull and make a mosaic. Everything is provided in this 5 hour class...tile and glass, adhesive and grout. Leave with a fab piece of art ready to hang up and enjoy. $100.
May 25-26, 2013 • 11am-4pm -Disks and Hollows Glass Bead Making - One of the next classes you'll want to take after your beginning class. We'll focus on disks and hollows. You'll need to make a disk before you can make a hollow. So te first part of the class we'll work on disks, a very popular style of bead. And just as popular is the hollow which allows you to make a larger bead that doesn't weigh too much. Love me some hollow beads. This class is about heat control. Some bead making experience is required. All supplies and tools are provided for this 2 day, 10 hour class. Just bring your

June 1-2, 2013 •12pm-4pm - Introduction to Kiln Forming - Kiln Forming includes fusing, slumping and casting glass. In this two day introduction class we'll explore fusing and slumping. Day one we'll talk about the properties of glass, firing schedules and what they are, cut glass and finally assemble a few pieces that will be fused. Day two we'll examine the fused glass making sure there are no sharp edges and everything looks good to slump into a mold to form plates. We'll discuss the design choices that were made and the results. Beginners are welcome and all supplies and tools are provided for this two day, 6 hour class. $225.
June 5-26, 2013• 6pm-9pm Wednesday Nights - Begiining Fused Glass - In this beginning fusing class you'll make a number of cool projects over the course of 4 Wednesday evenings. This class is a great place to get started in your fusing/kiln forming education. We'll go over some basic but important information regarding glass and what you need to know to move forward. You'll make jewelry components, move onto coasters as well as make parts for the final project, a plate. Each class is three hours for a total of 12 hours. Good times for sure. All materials and tools are supplied. $175.
June 7, 2013 • 6-9pm - Macramé Bracelet - This is a great beginning macramé class . You get to learn a great craft and also get a cool bracelet out of a deal. You have a couple of style options to choose from. Either make it out of hemp or cotton or leather. Beads are extra...you can bring your own or check out what we have here. $50.
June 8, 2013• 12pm-4pm - Fused Glass Tiles Stringer Study - In this beginning fusing class you'll make 4 glass tiles. This class is a great place to get started in your fusing/kiln forming education. We'll go over some basic but important information regarding glass and what you need to know to move forward.To create your designs on your tiles you'll usestringers which are thin strands of glass. The possibilities are endless...almost. You'll need to pick up your tiles once they've been fired in the kiln. The class is 4 hours and all supplies and tools are provided. If you want to make more tiles there will be an extra charge depending on the glass used. Also, your project will have to be picked up after it's been fired but we can mail it to you if you'd like. $75.
June 9, 2013 • 11am-4pm - Hearts & Flowers Glass Bead Making - One of the next classes you'll want to take after your beginning class. We'll focus on hearts and flowers. Different styles for both the hearts and the flowers. We'll be creating stringers, twisties and other simple component parts that will be used to make roses and petal flowers and leaves and vines. Some bead making experience is required. All supplies and tools are provided for this 5 hour class. Just bring your
desire to learn and your imagination. $125.
June 14, 2013• 6pm-8pm - Fused Glass Pendants - This is where it gets started. The ultimate project class to get you started with glass fusing, also known as kiln forming. In this short but concise class you'll get your first experience with fusing glass. You'll create a lovely glass pendant or two and begin your kiln forming education. This class will wet your curiousity for further learning about glass and what you can do with it. We'll go over some basic but important information regarding glass and what you need to know to move forward. You'll need to pick up your pendants once they've been fired in the kiln. It's short class at 2 hours and all supplies and tools are provided. If you want to make more pendants there will be an extra charge depending on the glass used. Also, your project will have to be picked up after it's been fired but we can mail it to you if you'd like. $35.
June15-16, 2013 •12pm-4pm - Pattern Bars...Fused Glass Tiles -Create one-of-a-kind designs by making pattern bars. But what's a pattern bar you ask? It's a grouping of glass, maybe rods, strips, stringer and frit that's been fused together in a bar. Sort of like murrini, if you know what that is. It's then sliced up with a tile saw and the patterns are then used to accent tiles and plates and other goodies. You'll make 4 tiles with your pattern bars. All materials and tools are supplied for this 2 day, 8 hour class. Beginners welcome. $150.
June 28, 2013 • 6-9pm - Earring Basics -Everyone loves earrings! And they are so easy to make. There are so many options. Well, we'll explore a bunch of earring options in this beginning jewelry making class using wire and headpins, chain, beads and simple wire working tools. Expect to make at least 3 pairs of earrings if not more. Most supplies and tools provided but other supplies such as sterling silver and handmade beads and findings are also available for purchase. $60.
June 29-30 •11pm-4pm -Beginning Glass Blowing - Little Vessels -Get a taste of glass blowing at the torch. We'll be making little glass vesssls that are mouth blown. This is the very beginning of glass blowing. Day one we'll mae some hollow beads so you can get the feel for wrapping up your glass that way. We'll also make the stopper for the top of your vessel which introduces you to working at the end of hte mandrel. We'll make at least one vessel on day one and then day two is all about vessels and stoppers. All supplies and tools are provided in this 2 day, 10 hour class. $250
July 6, 2013 • 11am-4pm - Silver Glass Bead Making - One of the next classes you'll want to take after your beginning class. We'll focus on silver glass, which is so beautiful and wonderful to work with. We'll reduce and encase and strike and make really lovely beads. Some bead making experience is required. All supplies and tools are provided for this 5 hour class. Just bring your
desire to learn and your imagination. $150.
July 13-14, 2013 • 12pm-4pm - Fused Glass Tiles Painting with Frit and Powders - We're going to create a piece of art using frit (crushed glass) and powders. What's differnet about this class is that we'll be working upside down. The piece will be built within a glass box...the bottom of it ends up being the front. On day two we'll cold work on the grinder to make sure everything is nice and smooth. Bring a simple image with you to work from. $150.
