It starts as clay and once fired is solid, pure silver. In between those steps you’ll mold it or stamp it or imprint it or cut and shape it. The goal, besides getting to know the material and its potential, is to make a pendant and a pair of earrings or a bunch of charms for a bracelet or necklace. We’ll fire it with a torch as well as in a kiln. The versatility of this material is pretty incredible. We will be working with 20 grams of metal clay which is provided as part of the class. More clay will be available to purchase should you get ambitious. It’s a 4 hour class. Bring a snack. Wear closed toe shoes, it is a glass studio after all. $150.00
