Well it's About Time...
I was just checking out the date of the last blog post I did over here. Kind of sad. Last August...yikes. I guess I've been busy. Anyway, I want to make this a regular thing. With the fresh blog posts there will be deals for classes and other goodies. A lot has happened since my last blog post, as can be expected. The sign I made is in the window of my store front and I've got a new neon on tap to make. Speaking of neon, the Museum of Neon Art is open in Glendale. It's on Brand across the street from the Americana mall. It's a very cool place and even better, they have some of my jewelry available in the gift shop.
Some of you in the glass world may have heard some really exciting news for those of us in Los Angeles. Bullseye Glass is opening a resource center in the area. South Pasadena to be exact and it's 5 minutes from my studio. They'll be right next door to Judson Studio's new fabrication location. There are some amazing times ahead for the Southern California glass community.
Around here I've been working with some fabulous painters introducing them to glass. Good times! We're creating art for some upcoming shows. More about all of that in future posts...
Speaking of shows...I'll be out selling jewelry and beads at the Jackalope Art and Craft show in Pasadena at the end of April.
I'm adding some fresh classes, including glass blowing. Come learn about glass!
